In the time of the Vikings,

Let our story begin,

With a boy Prince called Havelok,

And a Viking called Grim.

At last! After pestering his dad, the King, Havelok starts training to be a Viking Warrior but things don't go to plan.

Grim the Viking is given a mysterious sack and told to throw it into the sea. Will Grim do as he is told? Or will he open it? And what...or who...will he discover inside?

Long ago in the time of the Vikings, Grim and his family fled their homeland with the Viking boy Prince, Havelok.

They built a croft that became a village then a town and one of the mightiest ports in the world.

Links to Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Iceland continue today. Huge windfarms capture the power of the same winds that brought Havelok and Grim to safety across the North Sea.
